Before He died & after He was resurrected, He promised to us the gift of the Holy Spirit to dwell within us: John 14.

Throughout the Old Testament, individuals are seen operating by the power of the Holy Spirit. Throughout the book of Acts and the rest of the New Testament subsequent to the Gospels, the Early Church is seen learning to submit to the power & grace of the Holy Spirit.
